We can come to you or meet via video call to discuss your needs, work out a plan and give you a quote for your website.
2. Copywriting
We work closely with a copywriter and highly recommend you use their services to have the wording written for your website. This ensures your website appeals to your target audience and has a natural, user-friendly flow whilst targeting keywords and phrases to help you get found on google.
3. Draft Website Review
From there, we will create the first draft of your website. We will review it with you either in person or via a video call so you can provide any feedback, highlight any changes that need to be made, or fill in any blanks that may exist
4. Final Review
Once we’ve made any changes that were identified in the first review, we’ll meet with you to do one last review to ensure the website is looking exactly how you’d like it.

Why do you use the Duda platform?
We found Duda to suit our clients best as it’s easy to use, fast to load, has no maintenance requirements (unlike WordPress), and allows us to create stunning designs.
What is hosting?
Hosting is the monthly fees charged to keep your website live on the internet. We work closely with WebZulu who are an Australian Duda Reseller located in Cairns.
What is a domain?
Think of the domain as the address for your website. It will likely be something along the lines of www.yourbusinessname.com.au or www.yourbusinessname.au .
Can I choose my domain?
Yes. We will work with you to decide on the best domain option for your business. Please keep in mind that domains are subject to availability and if your first choice is not available, we will help you to find a suitable alternative.
Who manages my domain?
We want you to retain complete control of your domain which is why we recommend that you purchase and set up logins for your own domain. Don’t worry – we’ll still do the tech stuff behind the scenes – it just means that you aren’t reliant on us should you wish to do anything else with your domain.
What if I already have a domain? For example, linked to an existing website.
That’s no problem at all. We can create your website without the domain and then when we are ready to launch, we can login and change the settings so it points to your brand new website instead.
What if I don’t like the design you come up with?
At our initial meeting and before the design starts, we will ask you what sort of look and feel you are wanting with your website. It’s important that you are as open and honest as possible during this time as that is where we take the direction for your design. It may be an idea to share with us any other websites you like as a guide. At the draft website review stage, this is the opportunity to tell us anything that you don’t like about the design so we can make any adjustments before the final review. Our aim is always to create a website you can be proud of.
I like the design I’ve found on Wix or Squarespace, can you replicate it?
We are happy for you to show us any designs that you have been working with or particularly like to use as inspiration for your site and can replicate the parts you like.
What are your payment terms?
To lock in your web design project, we require a 30% non-refundable deposit then a further 30% is required at the draft website review stage and the final balance due just before launch stage. Hosting payments are required to start from the date of launch
Do I have to use the copywriter you recommend?
Not at all. You are welcome to choose your own copywriter or write your own copy. We work closely with Toni from Kickass Marketing as we know her rates are very reasonable and she does an excellent job creating copy for many of our clients. We do find that our clients who use a professional copywriter do get much better results than those who don’t.
Should I hire a professional photographer?
Whilst it’s not necessary to hire a professional photographer, it is something we do very strongly recommend that you do. Port Douglas has a wealth of excellent photographers and we find that client’s that choose to work with them tend to have much more visually appealing and unique websites.
Who owns the website after it’s completed?
You do. The final website, in its entirety, including designs and any created content, will be your sole property.
